"G-Force" Movie Review . . . But First A Brief Introduction!

Hello!
I just joined this site, but am active on another site in YahooGroups, GabbingAboutPiggies.  I've been a piggie owner, or should I say that I've been owned by piggies for about four years now.  I have two boyz, Angus MacDonald (American Silver Agouti) and Piper "Pip" MacGregor II (American Red-Eyed Orange Silky).  Sadly, Piper the 1st (American Diluted Agouti) had to be put down on January 15th of this year due to congestive heart failure.  It was devastating.  Approximately two weeks after loosing Piper, I adopted Pip, and he truly lives up to his name!  I live in New Jersey near the Jersey Shore and it's currently hot as hades here with the stiffling humidity.  Yikes!
But enough about me.  Now for the movie review!
On Sunday, July 26th, I went to see "G-Force" in 3-D.  It was a very cute movie.  Overall, I really enjoyed it.  Darwin was my favorite character.  For those of you who are fans of the "Indiana Jones" movies, there's a throw away line spoken by Darwin that pays an homage to the first Indy movie.  Fans of Bill Nighy will really like his role in this movie.  I know I did.  It's not all that large, but what there is, he's great!

The action in "G-Force" is good and the pace keeps moving well.  There really aren't any slow moments.  Sometimes in movies like this, the humor seems to be forced, but in this one, the humor comes from the situations the G-Force team find themselves in.

The animators did a phenonenal job on getting the piggies just right, with Darwin, in my opinion, being the best (which is why he's my favorite).  Their little mouths were just so adorable the way they were animated.  Whoever worked on the piggie animation certainly did their cavy anatomy and movement homework, with the exception of course, that these piggies stand up straight for a good portion of the movie.

For all piggie people, I do recommend this movie for its entertainment value.

Now, from a practical piggie owner's perspective, here's what I took away from this movie that people who saw it and will now want piggies may take away from it (I may be overthinking this here, but this is how I see it):

1.  Piggies use exercise wheels (one quick scene in the pet store).
2.  Piggies are tough and recover quickly when dropped . . . hard.
3.  Piggies swim in deep water.
4.  Piggies use exercicse balls (one scene when they're using the balls as transportation . . . even though they're sitting and "driving," it may still send the wrong message).
5.  You can put makeup on piggies (lipstick and nail polish).
6.  Piggies can be placed in motorized model cars and jump objects in demolition daredevil fashion.
7.  Piggies can eat cake.

Anyone else see the movie?  If so, what did you think and did you have the same concerns from a piggie owner's view?

I was tempted to put in for the G-Force poster n stuff at the raffle, but decided I just don't have wall space enough in the caviary and DH would NOT stand for it to be anywhere else, LOL.
